The penultimate round of the 2017 Monster Energy TRP Distributors SA National Motocross Championship heads to Holeshot Harry’s in Harrismith this Saturday, 2 September. With only 2 rounds to go, will any of the championships be wrapped up this weekend? There are some big leads in the points hunts but not enough to guarantee anything just yet.
In both the MX1 and MX2 classes there’s a battle between the factory teams and their riders – Husqvarna Racing’s Richard van der Westhuizen, Red Bull KTM’s Kerim Fitz-Gerald and the Tintswalo Out of Africa Yamaha riders Tristan Purdon and David Goosen. Grainger Racing’s Damon Strydom is also still in with a fight in both classes.
Racing starts at 10am. R60 gets you in (kids 12 and under get in for free).
