The third round of the 2017 Monster Energy TRP Distributors SA National Motocross Championship to place at the BORC motocross track in Bloemfontein over the weekend. Known as one of the best track in the country, paired with great weather made out for some of the best racing seen this season.
Kerim Fitz-Gerald was in true form in the MX1 class winning both heats to take the overall. Caleb Tennant, who made a return to racing at the previous round, impressed again with a 2-3 finish for 2nd overall. David Goosen took a well-deserved 3rd place with his 4-2 finish. The winning streak of Tristan Purdon was broken as he finished 4th for the day.

In the MX2 class it was Maddy Malan who dominated the field in both heats for the win. Maddy has now made it 6 out of 6 stretching his lead even further over the rest of the field. Richard van der Westhuizen again showed good speed and went 3-2 for 2nd on the day. David Goosen secured another podium finish going 2-4 for 3rd.
