The world’s longest running junior surfing series, the Billabong Junior Series presented by All Aboard Travel kicks off this weekend at Pollock Beach in Port Elizabeth. The first of four events that will crown champions in five boys and girls age divisions.
Scheduled for Saturday 25 March and Sunday 26 March, this weekend’s event features events for U16, U14, U12 and U10 boys and girls with prize-money up for grabs and points counting towards the Billabong Junior Series and the South African Surf Tour 2017 titles.
All Aboard Travel will be providing tickets to Bali for the overall series winners of the U18 Men’s and Women’s divisions. BOS Ice Tea, as always supporting junior surfing, will be the title sponsor for the second event in the series, the BOS Cape Crown presented by Billabong.
The U10 division makes its debut in the Billabong Junior Series and has been introduced get youngsters involved in competitive surfing as early as possible.
