The 6th Round of the 2015 SupaDrift Series saw 29 entrants take to the Dezzi Raceway in Port Shepstone and put their drifting skills to the test. Driver error and mechanical failure was the order of the day and saw only 17 drivers post qualifying scores.

The Top 16 ran smoothly with the only upset coming from Paolo Gouveia’s win over Shane Gutzeit. Gutzeit hit a drain at the top section of the course resulting in his diff and side shaft being destroyed handing the win over to Gouveia by default.

The Top 8 was filled with straight lines, front clipping point hits, off track rulings and a number of upsets. The drivers with the best tandem scores were the ones who made it through in the end.

The final round saw a great battle between Otto Graven and Jason Webb. In their first run Webb lead the tandem with Graver knocking on the door, the run was scored 6-4 to Webb. In their second run Graven took out a clipping point and dropped two wheels in the dirt scoring himself a zero. Webb’s car broke down seeing him score a Zero as well, but luckily for Webb the first run score counted and he took the win for the day.
Wade van Zummerun finished in 3rd place with Richat Kahn following in 4th. Webb now leads the 2015 SupaDrift Series.
