The annual Movember Off The Lip Surf Jam takes place on Sunday, 22 November (14th Postponed), at Tongaat Beach in front of Beach Bums, KZN. Hosted by Quiksilver and the Movember Foundation, 72 surfers will participate in this fun retro surfing content. Competitors are encouraged to sport their moustaches, seventies attire and old-school boards.
6 man heats with traditional beach starts will kick off the day in practice. This year will also boast the “Mo Sista’s” and “Legends” divisions. Fun awards will be handed out to surfers and spectators alike for Vert Alert, Wave Waster, Spin to Win and Best Dressed. Old school rock surf tunes will keep the vibes going throughout the day.
Action kicks off at 10am with finals expected at 3pm. All proceeds raised on the day will be donated to the Movember Foundation. Don’t miss out on this awesome day out for a good cause.
