2015 Halloween Jam Results

The annual Halloween Jam presented by DC Shoes in association with Red Bull , Von Zipper and Old School Productions, went down at Pretoria legend skater Puddy’s backyard mini-ramp. Skaters from as far as Durban and Cape Town made the journey to this event, which saw most of the best transition skaters in attendance competing for the title.

The action started just before sunset where a wildcard jam was held to select 4 wildcards to join the 12 pre-seeded skaters who performed at last years event. A series of 4-man jam rounds kept spectators glued to the action, and through 2 elimination rounds a final 4-man jam would be the deciding round.

Locals, Evan Binge and Daniel Miltiadou met Khule Ngubane and Moses Adams in the finals. While Binge and Matildou used their local knowledge of the ramp to keep their runs smooth and flowing, Ngubane and Adams attacked the ramp with their usual tech approach.

A couple missed tricks saw Moses landed himself in 3rd, while Evan Binge flowed the ramp with all sorts of old school inspired tricks to claim 2nd. The level of skating in the finals was really high, and all 4 finalists had scores very close to each other but Khule Ngubane managed to edge out the competition with his flip variations to take the title for the 2nd time.
