We finally had the opportunity to test out the Thor Prime Slice Motocross kit and besides looking the part it is the most comfortable kit we have ever ridden it. Here’s our thoughts on the styling and different kit.

One of the key things you will notice is the Prime Slice pants differ from conventional motocross kit pants as they don’t not feature all the various panels and thicker protected areas. They are basically constructed from a single piece of light and stretchy fabric, almost like tracksuit pants with a spandex feel.

Now this may put some doubt into your mind into how long the pants will last and how safe they actually are. In today’s age most riders ride with knee guards or knee braces which is where the protection comes from, so is there really a need for bulky and heavy pants with added protection? We think not. The Prime Slice pants are constructed with fabric that is made to last as well as featuring leather inner knee panels for added durability and heat resistance.

Spending the day on the motocross track riding in the kit felt super comfortable. The lightweight and durable pants are truly amazing and move with the body perfectly no matter the riding position. The top also plays it part with its 4-way stretch material and comfortable fit. We rate the Thor Prime Slice kit as one of the best we’ve ever ridden in and score it 8/10.
