The name Thalente Biyela has been blowing up in the Skateboarding scene and we’re psyched for the young South Africa. Thalente is currently living in Los Angeles, California  and recently traveled LA by train visiting eight Parks and Plaza’s, shredding each of them with his smooth style. Thanks to Lawrence McCullum, we have this edit documenting the awesomeness.

A truly inspiring story is that of Thalente Biyela whose life was saved by Skateboarding. A 19 year old that has been homeless since the age of 11 and who found refuge at a local Skatepark in Durban.
