The 2012 Redbull X-Fighters series kicked off last week Friday in Dubai, United Arab Emirates with Levi Sherwood, the 20-year-old FMX rider from New Zealand kicking some ass. He battled it out in the finals with Australian athlete Rob Adelberg. Here's some footage of that epic action courtesy of ESPN. What we wouldn't give to see some of that gravity-defying stuff live in SA!

We were lucky enough to get our hands on some images of South African Freestyle Motocross rider Alastair Sayer riding in the Masters of Dirt Tour in London and Manchester! This guy is going off with huge tricks and extensions, unfortunately Ali injured his knee during one of his runs which put him out for the rest of the tour.

So on Friday last week we landed in Cape Town to finally check out the much anticipated and much talked about event, Ultimate X 2012. We have featured the previous Ultimate X events before but this was the first time we made sure to be there in person. And it didn't disappoint! Check out our pics and footage - what an epic weekend!
