He’s been rated by DJ Mag as the no.15 DJ in South Africa and there is little doubt that he is king of the decks when it comes to drum & bass. Niskerone performed some epic sets at this year’s RAMFEST and later this year he will once again embark on yet another European tour. But perhaps the most exciting news for local fans is that tonight he relaunches his legendary Thursday nights, It Came From The Jungle at Fiction in Cape Town. One could have been forgiven for thinking you had walked onto a beach in the tropics on Saturday, thanks to a windless and sunny day at Llandudno, Cape Town, with some seriously warm water for the Cape. You would also have thought you had been taken back in time as the retro boards, costumes and wetsuits dotted the beach. Fun waves, around a 1000 people and of course fantastic vibes, all came together to further build on the Rolling Retro’s reputation for the most fun day in SA Surfing.
