Sony Max (DStv Channel 128) home to some of our favourite shows, Guy Code, Tattoo Nightmares, Skin Wars, Most Shocking and Caught On Camera is the official media partner to the not to be missed once off concert – Blood Brothers taking place on Saturday 18 July at Carnival City. For one night only South African music fans will be able to catch 10 of their favourite local rock legends perform together as the country’s first ever super group.

In true super group fashion, each band member had been specifically picked from a crop of premier rock legends. Together on stage, they will perform 3 hours of hits that made them famous as well as songs from international bands that played an influence in their sound.

The super group will be made up of Arno Carstens from Sprinbok Nude Girls, Francois van Coke from Fokofpolisiekar, Kobus de Kock from Black Cat Bones, Albert Frost from Blue Boers/Arno Carstens and George van der Spuy from Taxi Violence/Good Night Wembley on vocals. Rian Zietsman from Taxi Violence/Beast and Hunter Kennedy from Fokofpolisiekar/aKING/Die Heuwels Fantasties on guitars. Loedi van Reenen from Taxi Violence on bass and guitars. Isaac Klawinsky from Shadowclub and Jason Hinch from Black Cat Bones on drums.

This is the first time that so many local legends have agreed to partake in a venture of this magnitude, and for a good cause. 40% of the proceeds go to the charity initiative, the Vrede Foundation, which raises awareness and funds in the fight against cancer.
