The annual day of sun, fun and retro surfing vibes is back with Rolling Retro at Llandudno Beach, Cape Town on Saturday 20 Feb or Sunday 28 Feb, conditions permitting. A collection of over 45 retro surfboards will be on hand for entrants to surf. This year’s Rolling Retro will feature a classic “Baja” theme inviting everyone to find their inner Mexican and tie in with event sponsors El Jimador and Corona.
Rolling Retro is a celebration seeing groms, masters, guys and girls all surfing together in 10 man heats. Expect retro tunes accompanying the action on the water while the MC’s keep you entertained and informed. The Larter Bros will also be performing after the event’s prize giving. Look out for special guest surfing and putting on a show in the last and main heat of the day, the Pro Heat.
