The crews are furiously planning and choreographing for the 2014 Red Bull Beat Battle finals taking place on the 31st May at the Walter Sisulu Square in Kliptown, Soweto. Some of South Africa’s most respected and talented dancers will take to the stage and battle it out for the victory and bragging rights.
Somizi Mhlongo (Somgaga) will be returning as the head judge in 2014 and joined by B-Boy Vouks Nojokes, Lorna Maseko and Tumi Tladi who will all be keeping close tabs on routines during the finals.
This year’s crews feature a fair mix of genres who will have to level up on defending champions, The Prophelaz who have been putting in a lot of time polishing and practicing their routines. The Prophelaz will battle against the following 7 crews to keep their title. Freeze Frame, Fire, PsykoSouljas, Panzan Entertainment, Supreme, The Perfect Storm and Warrior Knights.
This is the 4th year of the Red Bull Beat Battle which has grown immensely since its beginnings in 2011. Don’t miss this night of insane and upbeat dance routines.
