During the month of February SA’s Greg Illingworth headed back to home soil joined by Monster Energy teammates Kevin Peraza, Alex Coleborn and Catfish for the MiTH BMX Tour. A two-week nationwide tour which kicked off at The Night harvest and ended at Ultimate X.

In between the contests the riders hit the road on a mission to slay spots and local skateparks as well as experience the sights and sounds South Africa has on offer. After cleaning up at The Night Harvest the crew headed up to, what they ended up describing as SA’s California, Durban.

After the welcomed and action packed tour of Durban the crew packed their bags and got ready for the trip up to the City of Gold, Johannesburg. This mecca for riding bikes did not disappoint and with one of the goals of the MiTH Tour being to connect with the local scene, Joburg provided just that.

The session at the Stoneridge Skatepark was huge and was packed with faces from the local BMX brotherhood. The following day the #Ride4Ray memorial BMX Jam took place in the streets of Joburg seeing close on 100 riders gather to pay their respects to a legend of the sport.

The MiTH Tour was capped off by a trip back down to Cape Town and the final contest, Ultimate X. Over the two weeks the riders were treated to some incredible riding and experiences.
