Durban LB Skate and Fallen Footwear International Flow Team Skateboarding Pro, Dlamini Dlamini has just dropped his new edit called Combined Mediums. After watching Dlamini session hard in the 5:54 edit we caught up with him and had a quick chat about the filming of Combined Mediums. See what he had to say and watch the video here:

Tell us about your new edit called Combined Mediums?
It’s the combination of old video mediums and new video mediums. ie. DV and HD.
How long did you film for to get the takes needed for the edit?
It took a few months of working on it with good people and videographers.
What locations did you film at and which one is your favourite?
The video was mostly filmed all over S.A and some footage from the states. The States was definitely my favorite, every spot there is perfect.
What were you looking to capture in Combined Mediums?
I really wanted to put out a edit I was hyped about and it felt good when we put it out.
Which trick was the hardest to get dialled for the video? How many attempts did you have to take?
The Hard Flip at the cato manor stairs here in Durban, went back twice to that spot.
Where is your favourite place to session and why?
Moses Mabida stadium, the floor is so smooth.
Are you bust learning any new tricks or combinations?
Skating and having fun man.
What’s the Skateboarding scene like in Durban if you compare it to Joburg and Cape Town?
Durban scene is growing and lot more kids are starting to skate which is good but it needs more involvement and people pushing the scene.
Do you have any other edits in mind? If so – when will they be coming out?
Got a few in mind but not sure when there will be done.
