The third edition of the Ballito Pro Skate Jam took place over the weekend, part of The Ballito Pro Presented by O’Neill surfing contest, which is currently taking place. Hosted at the Ballito Bowl the jam welcomed some of the country’s biggest skaters to the competition.
Umhlanga’s Kalvyn MacMillan is no stranger to the Ballito Pro Skate Jam, having won the 2021 edition and placed 2nd last year, again put on the winning display earning himself 1st place in the Men’s Division. Khule Ngubane finished in 2nd place followed by Damian Bramley in 3rd. Khule Ngubane also won the Best Trick competition.

Cape Town’s Janine Louw flew out to experience the Durban skate scene and the Ballito Pro Skate Jam for the first time, and ultimate took the win in the Women’s Division ahead of Bexx Sneddon in 2nd place.

In the U16 Boy’s Division it was Ezra Vosloo who took the win from Warrick Edgar in 2nd and Caleb Ambrose in 3rd.

Following the recent global launch of Hot Wheels Skate, the brand launched their Hot Wheels Skate fingerboard and accessories at the Ballito Bowl during the competition. The Jam was also supported by Monster Energy, Volcom, Fallen Footwear, and Groundswell Skate and Surf.
