2021 SA Motocross Nationals Thunder Valley Race Report

The fourth round of the 2021 South African National Motocross Championship took place over the weekend at Thunder Valley in Pietermaritzburg. Wet and cold weather played havoc forcing the second heats to be cancelled.

David Goosen shrugged off the bad weather as he went on to take the race win. Tristan Purdon crossed the line in 2nd followed by Cameron Durow in 3rd and Brad Cox in 4th.

Jonathan Mlimi racing in the 125 High School class at Round 4 of the 2021 South African National Motocross Championship Jonathan Mlimi

Jonathan Mlimi reigned in the adverse conditions taking the win and extending his championship advantage. Luke Grundy beat Ethan Hoffman to 2nd as Miguel de Waal finished in 4th.

Ladies

Kayla Raaff racing in the Ladies class at Round 4 of the 2021 South African National Motocross Championship Kayla Raaff

Kayla Raaff took an important win to gain valuable championship points ahead of her rival, Leah Heygate who finished in 3rd. Jadene de Lima crossed the line in 2nd.
