The South African International Tattoo Convention returns to Cape Town this March for its 3rd annual show. With an upscaled offering of tattooers, bands and an even bigger experience for visitors, this is a spectacle not to be missed.
Taking place from 29 to 31 March 2019 at The Lookout, V&A Waterfront.
The SAITC has invited a curated collection of 90 Tattoo Artists from over 15 countries that will be showcasing their personal style of tattooing. Each tattooer is inspired by over 15 genres of traditional and modern tattooing. The convention offers a high quality tattooing experience in a professional environment where visitors will receive world class advice and have a wide selection of tattoo styles to choose from.
The three day show will include six live performing bands, food trucks and improved market areas with fashion and lifestyle vendors, chocolatiers, coffee roasters, beer garden and a picturesque ocean view deck bar.
Artist bookings are open and slots fill up extremely fast, so make sore to pre-book to avoid disappointment. Head to the SAITC website and book by emailing the artist directly before the convention to start discussing the process and your design.

Walk-ins are also welcome. Spontaneously select a piece you like and get small, quick sketches and pieces of work known as “flash” designs without needing to pre-plan or pre-book.
