Awesome song, awesome music video! We’re totally digging the new Plastics single Stereo Kids which peaked at no.8 last week on the 5FM Top 40 chart. The song also held the number 1 spot for two weeks on the 5FM Rock Chart. Today sees the release of the official music video.
Directed by Robert Smith the video concept follows a kid at an 80‘s-style prom trying to woo a girl through the song. Shot in one day at Camps Bay Primary School in Cape Town, the video explores that awkward teenage guy-girl dynamic.

And some good news for fans. The Plastics are currently working on the pre-production material for their second album, set for release later this year. The band will start tracking the new album at Dreamspace Recording Studios in Cape Town over the following months of May, June and July.
