Among the fun lined up for the MTV Base Lifestyle Oasis is a pre-party starting at 10:00 pm on 6 July at funky cocktail joint De La Sol, featuring Metro FM DJs Vinny Da Vinci, Lulo Cafe, Sphectacula & Naves alongside Durban’s hottest homegrown DJ talent.
As Durban’s hottest social event gets under way on 7 July, the MTV Base Lifestyle Oasis Village, located in Ascot Village, will be the place to enjoy performances from Mi Casa, Zakes Bantwini, Teargas, JR and Pro Kid, while Lulo Cafe, Dimplez, Black Coffee and MTV’s very own DJ ViGiLante will be mixing up a storm. Newcomer Donald who is currently riding the charts with his smash hit ‘I Deserve’, will also be giving a special performance at the event.
Even once the winners are past the post, there’s no letting up in the MTV Base Lifestyle Oasis, there are more thrills to come at the MTV Base Lifestyle Oasis After Party back at De La Sol, with hot beats from Black Coffee and Mi Casa.
Other stylin’ features of the MTV Base Lifestyle Oasis will include: the Oasis stage; a glamorous pamper lounge and powder room offering relaxing massages and expert make-up touch-ups; a “Fashion by the Sea”-themed fashion show featuring top national and local designers; a competition for best dressed couples and individuals, and much, much more.
