Monster Energy AMA Supercross – Phoenix

As we suspected Gareth Swanepoel did a lot better this weekend at the 2nd round of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross series in Phoenix. Gareth took the transfer position in his qualifying race by coming 6^th and in the final to 17^th.

Other South African contender Tyla Rattray has had a phenomenal start to the season by taking 2^nd overall in last week’s opening round and now a 3^rd in this weekend race putting him in the championship lead over Cole Seely in 2^nd and Dean Wilson in 3^rd.

We can’t wait to see how Gareth improves through the season and if Tyla’s consistency will earn him the number 1 plate. We wish both riders the best of luck and just know that SA is behind you!
