As many of you may have already seen on Facebook – 2 weeks ago we partook in the Loudmouth Golf SA Day. Now, some of you may be wondering – LW Mag. Golf?! Huh? It’s not something we usually cover, we know. Only Neil actually knows how to swing a golf club with some finesse. But, the Loudmouth brand is definitely, well, loud enough that we figured it’d be worth our while. And it was. And then some. Gorgeous girls on the tee-offs, complimentary shooters and the gear. Well – we think our newly acquired golfing pants are awesome and we may start playing more often- just to wear show them off, of course.
For those that need an introduction to Loudmouth Golf – here it is…
We all grew up watching Johnny Miller in his shocking red pants and white belt, and Jack Nicklaus sporting his plaid polyester Sans-A-Belts. But when the time came for us to golf decades later, what sartorial choices were we given? Khaki. Grey. Black. Where was the fun in that?!
Khakis for golf weren’t going to cut it for Loudmouth founder Scott Woodworth. He took matters into his own hands, literally. He found some fabric with Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and company on golf carts on a powder blue background and made himself a pair of golf pants of questionable taste. When guys started coming up to him out in the middle of the golf course asking him how they could get a pair, he realized there was a hidden desire on the golf course…to play LOUD! Today Loudmouth Golf is a $100 000 000 business and continues to add new designs and diversify into many other areas.
We now have a range of swimming baggies, snowboarding pants, hoodies, t-shirts and much more to compliment the great designs and colours.
