Friday, 21 September 2018, will see The Narrow and Knave take the stage at Johannesburg’s premier rock venue, Rumours Rock City.
The Narrow will be performing at Rumours for first time in five years and it will be their debut performance at the revamped venue. Knave will be making their much anticipated return to the stage after a lengthy hiatus for one show only as well as their debut at Rumours Rock City.
Joining The Narrow and Knave on the night will be pop punk titans I Believe In Giants, hard rock outfit New Skyline Fire and progressive metal act Hiraeth. The line-up of acts is the perfect way to cap off the week with two of South Africa’s biggest hard rock acts accompanied by a mixture of rising stars in the local music scene.
One of the big talking points of the show will be Knave’s return to the stage. Bassist Louis Du Pisani reiterates the band’s return to the stage some more. “”The cats wanted to jam again, and it seems like a good time to do it. It was a turbulent time back in 2012 and now that we’re all older, wiser and fatter it seems like there is almost no excuses left to not do it. So here’s to a fun time playing some old songs written by younger dudes. But, Knave has never played at Rumours Rock City before, so that’s a thing right? It’s also lekker to jam with the cats from The Narrow again. Now there’s a line-up that was a thing of beauty back in the day.” says du Pisani.
Tickets are now available via Plankton.mobi for only R80. Tickets can be purchased here. Tickets will also be available on the night for R120 at the door.
