The Thebe Exhibitions and Projects Group (TEPG) has announced that Atomic Junkies, an extreme sports and adrenalin fest will take place at Durban’s Suncoast Casino, Sunplaza over Easter from 6 to 8 April 2012.
Spectacular displays of the most unbelievable stunts will be performed by world class athletes. The shows will be hosted by extreme sports participants and will showcase the best in spinning, vert ramps, the top names in South African FMX, BMX, supercars and modified performance car stunts and a line-up of the country’s best drift drivers and their trusted high horse-power rear-wheel drive vehicles and trials biking; the Atomic Car Show Off brought to you by Max My Ride magazine, and an exhibition arena showcasing extreme brands and products.. This Easter Festival will be high energy, action packed and visually spectacular, accompanied by car and bike demos to amaze and please crowds.
This fresh, new and truly South African adrenalin fest will prove to be a great family day out at Durban’s Sunplaza, Suncoast Casino and will be an annual event in the province.
XS Promotions have released the Motorsport South Africa (MSA) affiliated date for the SupaDrift National series event 03 to run alongside Atomic Junkies at Suncoast Casino, Durban from the 6-8 April.
Series 2011 Champion, Wade van Zummuren and young guns like 18 year old, Jason Webb, now driving for Monster Energy are amongst the podium challengers, as with David Nell and Adam Sheffer, driving for ALB motorsport. Promoters have also welcomed newcomers and Am’s to the Series to muscle it out with the Pro’s which should be a first for motorsport in SA.
Plenteous crowds will be witness to the best drifting this country has seen to date, which has placed the SupaDrift National Series on top and one may expectantly look forward to the frantic episode taking place at Atomic Junkies, this seasons dramatic account of the 3rd event…!!!
Athletes will be available for autograph signings after each show, enabling fans to meet their extreme sports idols in person.
