In the MX1 Class it was class rookie, Tristan Purdon who took the overall with a 2 – 1 finish. Purdon is going to be a force to be reckoned with this year. Veteran, Richie van der Westuizen was back in solid form taking 3rd in Heat1 and 1st in Heat2 (his first win since returning to racing after retirement) to take 2nd for the day. David Goosen finished off the podium in a very strong 3rd place.
